Pride and Prejudice is a romance that was written by Jane Austen and published in 1813. It is her best known work and tells the story of two people who determine from their first meeting the character of the other. With countless misunderstandings and a hilarious cast of characters, Pride and Prejudice is one of the best books of all time! :)

The Lord of the Rings is a trilogy that was written between 1937-1949 by J.R.R. Tolkien. In this trilogy Tolkien masterfully creates a new world. This in itself would be a daunting task, but Tolkien did not stop there. He not only created a new and fantastic world; he created a world with a history that stretches eons into the past of many peoples and countries. He has even created languages for these peoples. And in doing so, he has created one of the greatest trilogies of all times. :)
